
The ACCA Qualification
Overview
The ACCA Professional Scheme is a highly relevant, targeted combination of study and practical experience. The syllabus is a result of extensive research and consultation with governments, students, colleges and employers from a range of public and private sector organisations.

Entry Requirements
For Malaysian candidates
To apply, you must:
- be 18 years or older
- obtain 5 credits (grade C or above) SPM (in five separate subjects including English and Mathematics)
In addition, candidates must hold one of the following diplomas:
- 2 principal passes at STPM (grade C or above)
- Matriculation Certificate with a minimum CGPA of 2.50
- ATAR of at least 70
- Unified Examination Certificate with 5 subjects with grade B
- 2 passes at GCE A Level / Higher School Certificate
- 3 LCCI Level 3 (Higher passes)
- University/College Foundation (all programmes)
- Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia
Depending on any existing qualifications you may hold, exemptions can be awarded across the nine Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills exams of the ACCA Qualification. No exemptions are awarded for the Strategic Professional exams of the ACCA Qualification or on the basis of work experience for the ACCA Qualification.

Time Frame for Completion of Studies
The quickest way to become a member is to work and study at the same time. If you do, you could qualify in as little as three or four years. There’s no limit on how long students can spend on the Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills exams. Once students pass their first Strategic Professional exam, they have seven years to pass their remaining exams.
Structured Teaching and Learning Approaches
KSA City Campus has a structured approach in imparting knowledge to its students. Each paper consists of a minimum of 20 lectures and tutorials, comprising 3 hours each per week. Attendance is mandatory for all lectures.
Intensive revision classes for each paper are compulsory, comprising a minimum of 24 to 30 hours per paper. These sessions are designed to refresh students’ knowledge, enhance the application skills, and improve examination technique.
In addition, each paper consists of 2 internal exams. These internal exams are indicators of students’ progress in their studies.
