The CAT/FIA Qualification
Overview
ACCA’s Foundation in Accounting (ACCA – CAT/FIA) is a combination of study and practical experience, designed to build
your knowledge in accountancy, IT and management.
With an emphasis on flexibility and opportunity, the qualification is accessible to anyone aged 16 years or older.
There are no time constraints to KSA City Campus your examinations, so you can study and qualify at a pace which suits you.
Your previous examinations may also entitle you to exemptions from certain examinations. This will ensure your point
of entry is the most suitable for your level of knowledge and skills and will prevent you repeating areas with which
you are familiar.
On completion of the qualification, you will be eligible for automatic transfer to the ACCA Professional Scheme
qualification, and entitled to exemption from Part 1 (Knowledge Module) of the examinations.
Entry Requirements
To apply, you must:
- Be aged 16 years and above
- Have a minimum of 5 SPM / O-Level passes, including English and Mathematics, or equivalent

Time Frame for Completion of Studies
1st semester – FA1, MA1, FA2 & MA2 (half year)
2nd Semester – FAB, FMA & FFA (half year)
Student can complete ACCA – CAT/FIA within 1 year
Structured Teaching and Learning Approaches
KSA City Campus has a structured approach in imparting knowledge to its
students. Each paper consists of a minimum of 12 lectures and tutorials, comprising
3 hours each per week. Attendance is mandatory for all lectures and tutorials.
Intensive Revision classes for each paper are compulsory, comprising a minimum of
18 hours per paper. These sessions provide and discuss past exam questions and techniques.
In addition, each paper consists of 2 internal exams. These internal exams are indicators
of students’ progress in their studies.
ACCA-FIA Graduates
Once you have been completed the ACCA–FIA course, you will be eligible for automatic transfer to the ACCA Professional Scheme qualification, and entitled to exemption from Part 1 (Knowledge Module) of the examinations.
Progression to ACCA
ACCA – FIA graduates attempting to pursue the ACCA qualification are granted exemption from the Knowledge Module (3 papers) and thus may progress directly to the Skills Module (6 papers).

click the "Sign Up" button, then fill in the information required.
Please allow time for our confirmation of your registration.
The total fees and instructions for online payment will be sent to your email after confirmation.

To do so, obtain a Registration Form from the Information Counter at KSA City Campus or download it using the link below.

- Certified true copies of academic qualifications *
- RM100 Registration Fee (Non-refundable) *
